2 tbsp white sugar
1 lemon (zest)
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 cup Nuttelex Unsweetened Almond Milk
1 tbsp Nuttelex Original Spread
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 ⅛ cup plain all purpose baking flour
3 tsp baking powder
½ cup frozen blueberries
sprinkle salt
Method
Add the sugar and lemon zest to a bowl and combine using clean fingers until mixed well and fragrant.
Add in the milk, original spread, lemon juice and vanilla extract. Whisk well.
In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt.
Add the dry into the wet ingredients and whisk until just combined.
Gently fold through the blueberries.
Preheat your waffle iron and grease well.
Pour in some batter and cook according to machine instructions (or until golden and crispy)
