Perfect for sharing - these Garlic Bread Pizzas combine all the joy of traditional garlic bread, bruschetta and pizza in one fine base.
Pre-heat oven to 240c fan forced.
Place all of the base ingredients into a mixing bowl. Pour over 300ml warm water – not too hot. Stir well until the mixture comes together.
Turn mixture out onto a lightly floured surface and kneed 2 - 3 times until the it holds together as a ball. Then divide into approx 8 pieces.
Take 1 piece at a time (leaving the remainder loosely covered with oiled cling wrap) and use a rolling pin to flatten the dough into a pizza base shape, about 15cm in diameter so its nice and thin, then place on a prepared baking sheet.
Next, mix together the Nuttelex and crushed garlic, then spread a little over the pizza and then top with torn pieces of mozzarella
Repeat for the remaining pieces of dough. You should be able to fit 2 pizzas per baking sheet. Bake pizzas for 12 - 15 minutes, until the base is crisp.
Lastly, combine the fresh topping ingredients in a bowl (tomatoes, basil, balsamic and olive oil) and sprinkle over pizzas fresh from oven, just before serving
