This classic florentine recipe is dairy free so even more people can enjoy this wonderful festive treat. Also makes the perfect edible gift - if they last long enough! Thanks to @laura_hobby_baker for this recipe. #ChristmasClassics
1Pre-heat oven to 180ºC.
2Combine all dry ingredients in a bowl.
3In a small saucepan, combine plant based Nuttelex, honey and vanilla.
4Stir over a medium heat until the sugar has dissolved.
5Pour into the bowl with the dry ingredients and stir until combined.
6Allow to sit for 30 minutes.
7Place a tablespoon of mixture on a lined baking tray at even intervals.
8Bake for 8 minutes, or until golden.
9Allow to cool completely.
10Dip in the melted chocolate. You can drizzle the chocolate over the biscuits if you prefer.
