Chocolate Brownies (Dairy Free)

These rich, chocolatey Brownies taste sublime and are #DairyFree. Note: You'll find dairy free vegan chocolate at Cruelty Free stores.

Ingredients

Line a small (15cm x 26cm) brownie tray with Silicone Paper

Pre-heat Oven 180°C

1 kg Dairy Free Vegan Dark Chocolate

300 g NUTTELEX (chopped)

5 Eggs - beaten

3/4 cup Brown Sugar

2 tbsp Cocoa Powder

1 cup Plain Flour

pinch of Salt

Directions

1In a large stainless steel bowl, place the chocolate and Nuttelex together

2Place the bowl over a sauce pan of warm water. Leave to melt stirring occasionally to mix together

3Make sure that the gas is on a medium to low heat

4Make sure the eggs are beaten well in a separate container

5Sieve all the dry ingredients (cocoa powder, plain flour and salt) together & keep separate

6Once the chocolate & Nuttelex have melted, add the beaten eggs

7Mix the eggs really well before folding in the flour

8Fold in the flour. Keep folding until the mixture is smooth

9Pour the brownie mix into the lined brownie pan making sure the top is levelled evenly

10Bake for 10-15 minutes

11Cool down completely before removing from the pan and cutting

12Dust with non-dissolving cocoa powder

13Do not refrigerate the brownies. Keep in a airtight container.
